REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES
- active employee, military member of a law enforcement agency;
- at least 5 years of law enforcement experience;
- postgraduate education:
scientific and pedagogical master's degree;
specialized master's degree with additional development of educational programs of a pedagogical profile (additional certificate).

Examinations are held on the basis and according to the technology developed by the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Period: dates set by the National Testing Center of the MES RK, but not later than the entrance exams in the specialty.
Passing score: not less than 30 points (on a 100-point grading scale)

1. Candidates holding one of the international certificates:
English:
- TOEFL ITP at least 460
- TOEFL IBT at least 46
- TOEFL PBT at least 453
- IELTS Academic at least 5.5
German language:
- DSH, level B2
- TestDaF-Prüfung, level B2
French language:
- TFI, at least level B2 in reading and listening sections
- DELF, level B2
- DALF, level B2
- TCF at least 50 points
2. Persons who have completed their studies in foreign organizations of higher and postgraduate education in countries where English is the state or official language and who have specialized accreditation of foreign accreditation bodies included in the registers and (or) associations of accreditation bodies of the member states of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development within 5 years do not provide the above international certificates.
Period: from August 15 to August 20
Examination questions and (or) tasks are formed on the basis (in volumes) of educational programs of Master's degree.
More detailed procedure of the examination, including the list of disciplines on which it will be held, the form (oral, written, questions, essays, etc.) and the place of the examination is independently determined and approved by the Academy annually.
The results of entrance examinations are announced on the day of their holding.
The application for appeal shall be submitted before 13:00 hours of the next day after the announcement of the results of the entrance examination and shall be considered by the Appeal Commission within one working day from the day of submission of the application.

Candidates who achieve a threshold score based on the results of entrance exams (100-point system) are enrolled in training on a competitive basis.
The threshold score is set annually by decision of the Academic Council of the Academy.
Students are paid 70% of the salary for the last position held and 100% of the additional payment for a special title or class rank.
