Now those who want to join the Prosecutor’s office, Anti-corruption service and Economic investigation service must undergo mandatory initial professional training.
The innovations affect people who are entering the law enforcement service for the first time to the position of ordinary, junior and middle commanding staff.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated may 13, 2020, Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s Office is responsible for conducting this professional training.
The term of training for service in the Prosecutor’s office will be 1 year, the anti-corruption service and the economic investigation service – 6 months.
Candidates who are not older than thirty-five years of age and have a higher legal education will be accepted.
All applicants will be provided with a scholarship, food and accommodation at the expense of the state.
For admission, you must first pass a test in the Agency for Civil Service Affairs (for admission to the law enforcement service), medical and psychophysiological examination in military medical commissions and polygraph research, as well as selection in the Academy.
Detailed information about the procedure and timing of admission to initial professional training and selection to the Academy will be published additionally on the departmental websites of law enforcement agencies and the Academy.
