Actual issues of the development of modern legal education were the subject of discussion during a meeting with the German specialist in education, the retired judge of the city of Hamburg Gerd Veling.
The German expert conducted an educational training for academic staff of the Academy, on the topic: “The system of legal education in Germany” and “Novels in the Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
The main goal of the educational training is the exchange of experience, strengthening the educational potential of the Academy and increasing competitiveness in the context of integration into the educational space.
The German expert discussed in detail the principles of training lawyers in Germany, spoke about the peculiarities of the German system of professional training of judges and prosecutors.
National expert project director of the Institute “Public Opinion” Botagoz Rakisheva, who also participated in the seminar, spoke about the main directions of training of legal personnel in Kazakhstan.
The participants of the training received advice and recommendations from experts on the implementation of educational and research activities in their daily work.
The training took place in an interactive format, a constructive dialogue and an exchange of views took place.
