The seminar on “Effective interaction of Kazakhstan’s law enforcement system with the media and social networks” was completed at the Academy for employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Economic Investigation Service.
The event was organized with the OSCE Office of Programs in Astana.
Speakers were well-known journalists and leading experts in the field of public relations Polina Shimanskaya, Zhazira Begaly, Regina Larioshina.
The courses are organized in order to increase the level of public confidence in law enforcement agencies through the strengthening of the effectiveness of the press services and ensuring information openness.
The training covered such topics as the practice of commenting on criminal chronicles, establishing contacts with the interlocutor, tools for effective communication. The issues of the quality of relations between law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan and the media, the review of social networks, the activities of the modern press service, as well as the improvement of professional skills of image work are analysed.
The participants of the courses were awarded certificates at the end of the seminar.
