As part of the instruction of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh. Asanov, an innovative computer program “Virtual inspection of the place of incident” was presented for the students of the courses of professional retraining and advanced training “Legal and practical issues of the participation of the prosecutor in the criminal process”.
The program is designed to create interactive three-dimensional models of different places of incidents, allows you to learn how to properly inspect the place of various crimes, with the possibility of practical use in a computer class environment.
The form of training, resembling a computer game, aroused great interest and was easily received by the course’s listeners.
The possibility of a simulation mode allows the teacher to create a model of the place of the incident, and then using the library of various objects (traces, instruments of crime, etc.) in their intention to place them in any physical plane of the model being created.
The listener independently examines the specific model during the lesson, and the teacher has the opportunity to make changes to it, identify and correct mistakes in time.
In general, the program is aimed at improving the skills of conducting investigative actions in conditions as close as possible to the real events of the crime scene.
This form of training is planned for implementation in all regions.
