Training in the preparation of reviews of implementation of the provisions of the Convention against Corruption

Training of governmental experts participating in the work of the Review Mechanism of the UN Convention against Corruption started in the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event is organized under the auspices of the Regional Hub on Countering Global Threats with the support of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

Representatives of law enforcement and fiscal bodies of Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan arrived to participate in the training.

The UNODC expert will teach the participants to independently prepare reviews of the implementation of the provisions of the Convention, will familiarize them with the methodology and timing of the review, basic requirements and instructions.

The training program also includes plenary presentations, participation in discussions for the exchange of information and options for the practical application of the knowledge gained through training scenarios.
