A regular meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council was held in the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies.
Deputies of the Parliament, heads of cadre units of law enforcement agencies, representatives of the National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation and higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in the work of the Council.
The meeting discussed the results of interdepartmental research work, presented the Rules for conducting interdepartmental research in the field of law enforcement, their coordination and monitoring, changes in the composition of the Scientific and Methodological Council and approved research topics for 2018.
The Academy has completed scientific developments on topical problems of public security, counteracting corruption, preventing and preventing juvenile crime and individual forms of theft. The results of the research are tested in practical and normative work.
In 2018, the following research topics were approved:
– the cost of crime;
– counteraction to illegal withdrawal of capital;
– problems of crime prevention through criminological forecasting in the West Kazakhstan region;
– counteraction to oil theft;
– problems of ensuring environmental safety.
