The Prosecutor’s office of Zhambyl region together with the regional representative of the Law Enforcement Academy organized training courses for city prosecutors and the management of the local police service to teach skills of behavior in crisis situations.
The training is aimed at developing the skills of law enforcement officers in the negotiation process, the ability to respond quickly to any non-standard and crisis situations, to prevent destructive ways of conflict development.
To avoid adverse outcomes of the negotiation process, the negotiator must know the technique of negotiation — to be able to conduct a constructive dialogue, use effective psychological techniques of manipulation, persuasion, change the behavior of the interlocutor, allowing to establish contact with him and successfully resolve the situation.
The training took place in the format of training and practical training to address various conflict situations. Head of school of practical psychology D. Shakhanov was invited as a trainer.
According to the general opinion of the students, the courses gave the opportunity to obtain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities, which will allow to make quick and adequate decisions, competently resolve the brewing conflict.
