A representative of the Law Enforcement Academy with the prosecutor’s office of the Karaganda region conducted retraining courses for employees of district and city prosecutors on practical issues of the participation of the prosecutor in the criminal process.
The main goal is to provide prosecutors with in-depth professional knowledge and skills necessary for the supervision and representation of state interests in criminal proceedings.
The faculty of the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, E.A. Buketov State University, experienced employees of the regional prosecutor’s office, and the Department of the Communist Party of the Socialist Republic spoke to the audience.
Skills were developed to examine the scene of the incident and other investigative actions, the psychological aspects of the crime investigation, and the particularities of conducting interrogations involving minors were studied. Using practical situational tasks as an example, lecturers brought to the audience the main aspects of prosecutorial activity.
Trainings on team building were also held. Their relevance is caused by the need for psychological adaptation of newly hired employees, the acquisition of the necessary communication skills with both colleagues and citizens.
The program and content of the courses received positive feedback. The knowledge at the end of the training showed a positive trend in the development of employee knowledge.
