The second Eurasian legal congress “International Law for International Justice” was held in Baku.
The forum was attended by over 250 delegates from 40 states. The Kazakh delegation was led by the director of the Institute for Professional Development of the Academy, Magomed Akayev.
The purpose of the forum is to strengthen legal cooperation, professional consolidation of scientists and practitioners, exchange of experience in the formation of legal institutions, development of progressive legal traditions of different countries.
The meeting participants discussed various aspects of further deepening the achieved interaction. They exchanged views on pressing issues of international law, migration issues and crimes against humanity, and countering terrorism.
As part of the development of international cooperation, the Academy is expanding business ties with leading universities in the region. This is a good help to ensure the academic mobility of postgraduates and doctoral students, to unify academic programs for training in countering global threats, and to create a single journal of scientific publications of lawyers of the Eurasian region.
