Getting out of sexual slavery. Location “Stash” as part of a simulation training exercise to combat human trafficking

Since June 24, 2019, the Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s office together with the OSCE has been conducting an international simulation exercise to respond to specific situations of human trafficking.

Representatives of state bodies and non-governmental organizations from 17 countries in Europe and Asia participate.

As part of the training exercise, participants have already received the initial data.

By quickly-investigative actions to collect the required information about the criminal group that organized sexual exploitation of citizens, established the location of the “stash”, the probable circle of people involved, their contacts and financial flows.

27 June 2019 planned the seizure of the suspects and the liberation of probable victims.

After that necessary actions for establishment of all circumstances of a crime for the direction of criminal case in court will be continued.

Similarly, today the participants of the exercise identified and rescued 5 people from labor slavery. Two suspects were arrested.
