July 22-26 A simulation exercise will be held at the Law Enforcement Academy on interagency response to cases of legalization (laundering) of proceeds from drug crime.

The event is held jointly with CARICC, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FMC, with the support of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan and the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan.

The participants of the training are representatives of the prosecutor’s office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FMC and CARICC, international experts from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, etc.

The main goal of the training is the exchange of experience and the strengthening of interagency cooperation of authorized structures in the investigation of drug crimes.

Location: Kosshy village, st. Republic, 16, Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s office.

The opening of the event is July 22 at 9.30 a.m.

Media representatives are invited to cover the event.

Journalists will have the opportunity to interview experts and participants in the training – representatives of international organizations, employees of various departments, visit the training venue where the storage and sale of drugs will be simulated.

The imitation of operational and investigative actions to seize drug dealers, search for and seize narcotic drugs will take place on July 22 of this year at 14:20 p.m.

July 26 this year as part of the training exercise, a trial will be modeled with the participation of an acting judge of the Specialized Inter-district Criminal Court of Nur-Sultan city.
