December 9-13 in Almaty, on the basis of CARICC, a simulation training will be held on interagency response to cases of legalization (laundering) of proceeds from drug crime.

The event is held by the Law Enforcement Academy in conjunction with CARICC, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the CPM, with the support of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan, the OSCE Program Office in Nur Sultan and UNODC.

The training participants are representatives of the prosecutor’s office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the CPF and CARICC, international experts from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and others.

The main purpose of the training is the exchange of experience and the strengthening of interagency cooperation of authorized structures in the investigation of crimes in the field of legalization (laundering) of drug proceeds.

Journalists will have the opportunity to interview experts and participants in the training – representatives of international organizations, employees of various departments, and visit the venue for the exercises. You can also see the work of the latest techniques, financial intelligence units, information resources.

December 13 this year as part of the training, a trial with the participation of existing judges in Almaty will be modeled.
