A regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Law Enforcement Academy.
The main topics of discussion were the interim results of the World Bank project, the state of the book fund and the work of the library, the approval of manuals prepared by the Academy staff, the election of new members of the board.
Head of the Academy Nail Akhmetzakirov focused on the work of the Academic Council on the coordination of scientific activities of law enforcement agencies, the development of legal science.
Representatives of “PricewaterhouseCoopers” participated in the discussion of issues related to the implementation of the World Bank project. They expressed interest in expanding cooperation.
Following the meeting, a decision was made on the need to improve the work of the library on integration into electronic and reference systems. Collection “Teacher’s advice” and reference book “Academy’s explanation dictionary” was recommended for publication.
Changes in the composition of the Academic Council were made. According to the results of the secret voice, the vice-rector of the Academy Nikolay Turetsky, the head of the Administration Yerulan Khasenov, the director of the Institute Magomed Akayev and the heads of the departments Burkut Nurmagambetov and Rustem Nugmanov were included in the collegial body.
Nail Akhmetzakirov congratulated the members of the Academic Council on their election and wished them successful implementation of the tasks.
