A regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Academy was held on December 26, 2019.
The topics of dissertation research by postgraduates and doctoral candidates for 2019 were heard and approved, their scientific advisers were approved at the meeting. The candidacy of Doctor of Law, Professor M.S. Bashimov has been approved as the chairman of the State Attestation Commission for the specialty “Jurisprudence” and Doctor of Law, Professor A.Sh. Yeshanov in the specialty “Law Enforcement Activity”. Also, the disciplines for the final certification of students of the magistracy and doctoral studies of the 2019-2020 academic year are approved.
The Action Plan for raising the image of the scientific journal “Bulletin of the Law Enforcement Academy” for 2020 was approved, as well as the procedure for preparing, reviewing and sending materials on the assignment of an academic title of the Academy staff to the Ministry of Education and Science was regulated.
In addition, the following educational, methodological and scientific publications of the Academy staff were approved for publication: To recommend the following educational, scientific and methodological works of the Academy staff for publication: collection of materials from the criminological forum “Actual Issues of Enhancing the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs and Their Legal Interests” (compiled by N.S. Alpysov, B.Zh. Sagymbekov, Zh.R. Sarpekov.); Commentary on the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Prosecutor’s Office” (team of authors); textbook “Practice of combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism” (author R.R. Nugmanov); guidelines for the collection of receivables and property rights (authors: E.T. Oralbek, A.E. Alibekov, A.Kh. Aubakirov); practical recommendations “sentencing” (author D.Kh. Naimanova); monograph “Legal foundations of countering the financing of terrorism and extremism” (author D.B. Baysagatova); guidelines for the implementation by the local police of administrative proceedings in the field of environmental protection and the use of natural resources (authors: S.D. Bekisheva, A.M. Shakieva); guidelines for the investigation of environmental criminal offenses under Article 337 “Illegal hunting” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (authors: S.D. Bekisheva, S.T. Zhumakaev, A.B. Imangaliev).
