Education: Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation; Moscow Financial and Law Academy; Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Duke University (North Carolina, USA).
Academic Degree: Ph.D, LL.M.
Professional Experience: more than 20 years of experience in law enforcement. Has been working at the prosecutor’s office since 2011. Held a number of positions, including senior management positions at the Almaty District Prosecutor’s Office of Astana, the Prosecutor’s Office of Astana, the Prosecutor General’s Office, and the Asset Recovery Committee. Since November 2025, has been working at the Academy.
Research Interests: criminal law, criminal procedure law, asset recovery, international commercial and financial law, and public administration.
Research and academic activities: author of more than 20 academic publications in the fields of law and public administration, including 3 publications in Scopus-indexed journals and 3 monographs.
ZHAKIYALIN AIDOS ZHANBYRBAYEVICH

Professional experience: work experience at district, regional and central levels. Management of departments of the central apparatus, participation in the formation of judicial practice at the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. Experience in anti-corruption and asset recovery fields.
Achievments: Awarded awards of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan: «Prosecutor’s Office uzdigi» II degree, «Ministry of Economy of Kyzmeti Ushin» II, III degree, «Kazakhstan Prosecutor’s Office son 25 years old».
Submitted to the «Honor Board» of the Asset Recovery Committee of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Area of scientific interests: civil, land and business law, legislation in the field of asset recovery and combating corruption.
Research activities: head of research project «Management of seized and confiscated assets in the Republic of Kazakhstan: status and prospects». The author’s asset management model has been implemented which used in rule-making and practical work.
By order of the Rector of the Academy 20r/dated August 28, 2026, he is a member of the working group on advancing criminal, criminal procedural, penal and administrative legislation.
