In the assembly hall of the cultural and sports complex of the city of Kosshy, the final event of the pilot project «Get to Know Your Neighbors» was held. The program was attended by residents and guests of the city, representatives of government agencies, public associations, and youth.
Active participants who contributed to strengthening neighborly relations, developing the local community, and promoting social initiatives were awarded certificates of honor.
The project is aimed at increasing the legal literacy of the population, fostering legal awareness, preventing offenses, and strengthening trust-based communication between citizens and law enforcement agencies. The initiative was implemented by the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the prosecutor’s office, the akimat, and the police department of the city of Kosshy.
The event was held in the context of promoting the principle of «Law and Order» emphasizing the importance of shared responsibility for creating a safe and harmonious urban environment.
