On July 10, 2025, a film training session on “Countering Internet Fraud” was held at the assembly hall of the new Kosshy Cultural and Sports Complex. The event was part of the “Get to Know Your Neighbors” pilot project.
The event was organized by the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan in collaboration with the Prosecutor’s Office, the Police Department, and the Akimat (local administration) of Kosshy.
Participants of the training discussed current threats related to internet fraud and learned about recommendations for improving digital literacy and legal awareness. Special attention was given to crime prevention measures and strengthening trust between the public and law enforcement agencies.
The training was conducted in an atmosphere of open dialogue and represented an important step toward embedding the principle of “Law and Order” within community values.
