On June 26, 2025, staff and master’s students from the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a training session for women in difficult life situations at the “Ana Úi” (Mother’s Home) public foundation’s crisis center in Astana.
The training, titled “How to Protect Yourself in the Legal Field,” was part of a series of events aimed at promoting law and order and increasing legal literacy among vulnerable populations. The women learned about their rights, how to access legal aid, and the steps to take if their rights are violated.
During the meeting, participants were shown thematic videos and visual materials demonstrating accessible ways to seek legal support. They also received contact information for trusted specialists who are ready to provide assistance if needed.
Such initiatives help expand legal awareness, increase women’s confidence in their own legal protection, and serve as a foundation for creating a safe and just society.
