Deep-Level OSINT Training Held at the Academy

From June 16 to 20, 2025, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted an advanced training session on “Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT): Collection and Analysis of Information from Open Sources.” The OSCE Programme Office in Astana partnered in the event.

The program included practical modules on the secure collection and analysis of data from open digital sources, such as search engines, websites, and email. Special attention was given to methods for documenting and preserving digital evidence.

This training is a continuation of the systematic collaboration between the Academy and the OSCE to enhance the digital investigation and transnational crime-fighting skills of law enforcement officers.
