As part of the events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academy staff took part in the ASTANA HALF MARATHON 2025 city race, which took place on June 1 in the capital.
This large-scale sporting event brought together over 6,000 runners from different regions of the country and 38 foreign countries. The race was organized by the corporate foundation “Courage to be First.”
The marathon is included in the official calendar of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), and the route is certified in accordance with World Athletics requirements.
The route passed through Astana’s landmarks: Independence Square, the Esil River embankment, the Baiterek monument, the Abu Dhabi Plaza complex, and the EXPO pavilions.
The Academy team covered the 10-kilometer distance, demonstrating strength of spirit, excellent physical fitness, and teamwork. The participants received an extra boost of energy from their colleagues who supported the team as fans.
At the end of the race, all participants were awarded commemorative medals in recognition of their determination and desire to win.
Participation in the marathon became a symbol of the Academy’s commitment to the principles of healthy living, strengthening corporate culture, and teamwork.
