On May 23, 2025, a bilateral meeting was held in Astana with a delegation from the Higher Education Courses of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Uzbek delegation included Khozi-Murod Isokov, Director of the Higher School of Judges under the Supreme Judicial Council, Evgeny Kolenko, First Deputy Head of the Law Enforcement Academy under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Bakhtiyor Kayumov, Head of the Faculty of this Academy.
Marat Seksebayev, Rector of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, addressed the meeting with a welcoming speech. The Kazakh side emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in personnel training and developing educational exchanges between the countries.
During the negotiations, key areas of cooperation were discussed: improving the qualifications of employees, implementing joint scientific projects, and exchanging teaching practices. Particular attention was paid to cybersecurity issues, including combating crimes involving digital technologies and cryptocurrencies.
The Uzbek side expressed interest in developing the partnership, noted the high level of organization of the educational process, and emphasized the importance of deepening practical cooperation between relevant institutions.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to continue joint work aimed at improving the effectiveness of law enforcement training, developing scientific and educational initiatives, and strengthening professional ties.
