On May 6, 2025, a festive event dedicated to two important occasions—Defender of the Fatherland Day and the 10th anniversary of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan—was held at the Cultural and Sports Complex in the city of Koshy.
The anniversary was a milestone in the history of the Academy, which over the past decade has established itself as an authoritative center for training professionals in the field of law enforcement.
The event was attended by representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Financial Monitoring Agency, faculty members, veterans, students, and trainees of the Academy.
In his welcoming speech, Rector Marat Islamkhanovich Sekembayev noted that the combination of the two dates symbolizes the continuity of generations and a common desire for a strong, just state.
Particular attention was paid to the significance of Defender of the Fatherland Day as a celebration of courage, dedication, and readiness to serve the interests of society. These qualities form the basis of the training of the Academy’s students and graduates.
Employees who have distinguished themselves in scientific and educational activities were awarded departmental awards.
