The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies held a scientific seminar on the topic: “The Constitution of the Republic – a reliable guarantor of building a just Kazakhstan,” timed to coincide with the anniversary of the adoption of the Basic Law. The event became a platform for professional discussion of issues related to the implementation of constitutional norms and their role in the legal development of the country.
The seminar was opened by Professor Almaz Yeshanov, Doctor of Law at the Academy. In his welcoming speech, he noted the importance of the Constitution as a fundamental document regulating the key principles of statehood and the legal order. Senior lecturer at the Academy Askar Talkibaev acted as moderator, emphasizing the importance of youth involvement in the process of legal modernization.
During the seminar, doctoral and master’s students of the Academy presented reports and discussed various aspects of the operation and development of constitutional norms. The topics of the presentations covered issues such as the balance of interests between the individual and the state, constitutional guarantees in conducting covert investigative activities, legal mechanisms for combating corruption, confiscation of property, presumption of innocence, as well as the moral and philosophical foundations of constitutional law.
The presentations reflected a desire to understand the current legal realities and seek possible ways to improve the legislative framework. The presentations aroused keen interest among the participants and gave rise to substantive discussions.
At the end of the event, the participants expressed their interest in further studying the topics discussed and continuing their research in the field of constitutional law. Such seminars contribute to the formation of a professional view of contemporary challenges in the legal sphere and strengthen academic interaction within the scientific community.
