“Distinguished Guest” at the Academy

As part of the implementation of the National Plan “Ata Zhan – Tauelsizdik Tiregi,” the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies organized a guest lecture as part of the “Distinguished Guest” project.The speaker was Nurmukhanov Bakytmaratovich, Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Legal Sciences.

The topic of the lecture, “The Role of the Constitutional Court in Protecting Human and Civil Rights and Freedoms,” attracted widespread interest among master’s and doctoral students. During the event, key aspects of the Constitutional Court’s activities, its significance in law enforcement practice, and the role of court decisions in strengthening the rule of law and protecting the constitutional rights of citizens were examined in detail.

Particular attention was paid to the formation and development of constitutional and legal principles, as well as the interaction of judicial bodies with other institutions of state power. The lecturer emphasized the importance of international experience and legislative reforms in the field of constitutional proceedings.

At the end of the meeting, Bakyt Nurmukhanov answered questions from the audience, shared professional recommendations, and noted the importance of educational cooperation. The participants noted the relevance of the issues raised and the importance of such meetings for the formation of a legal culture among students.

The guest lecture served as a platform for exchanging opinions, deepening knowledge of constitutional justice, and developing the analytical thinking of the participants.

The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies will continue to implement educational initiatives aimed at improving the professional training of law enforcement officers and developing scientific potential in the legal field.
