The Committee on Forestry and Wildlife of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a presentation of the results of a scientific study on the topic: “Organizational and legal support for the prevention of offences in the field of flora and fauna.”
The research was conducted by a team of authors from the Interdepartmental Research Institute of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by representatives of the Committee on Forestry and Wildlife of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as the Kazakhstan Association for Biodiversity Conservation (KABC).
During the presentation, the legal and organizational aspects of preventing offenses in the field of plant and animal protection were discussed. Proposals were made to improve legislation and law enforcement mechanisms in this area.
The results of the study emphasized the importance of interagency cooperation to ensure environmental safety and sustainable development of natural resources.
