Employees of the Law Enforcement Academy took part in the national cross-country skiing championship among employees of the prosecutor’s office, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The competition, organized by the Personnel Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Prosecutor’s Office of North Kazakhstan Region, was held on the roller ski track in the village of Borki. Fifteen teams and more than 60 athletes from different regions of the country took part in the championship.
The Academy team was represented by Marat Abrakhmanov, Zhanat Esmagambetov, and Sabina Kasymova, who performed well in the individual and team competitions. Sabina Kasymova took second place in the individual race, and the Academy team took third place in the relay. At the end of the competition, our team was among the top three, winning third place in the overall team standings.
The championship was not only a sporting event, but also a tribute to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies continues to support sporting traditions and the active participation of its employees in competitions at various levels.
