The law is not just words: how the «Тәртіпті өзіңнен баста» campaign is shaping conscious citizens

A meeting organized by the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies as part of the national campaign «Тәртіпті өзіңнен баста» was held at Abay Kunanbayuly Gymnasium No. 87 in Astana. The lecturers were Burkut Nurmagambetov, Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Academy, and Nurgali Rakhimov, Associate Professor of the Department of Special Training in Countering Global Threats.

Schoolchildren discussed the rule of law, the causes of juvenile delinquency, and its consequences in an open dialogue. Particular attention was paid to the prevention of illegal activities, including religious extremism. The speakers discussed in detail how destructive groups use manipulation to involve young people in illegal activities and emphasized that knowledge of the basics of legislation and critical thinking are key tools for protection against such threats.

“Fostering a culture of lawfulness among the younger generation is one of our top priorities. Understanding the role of the law and personal responsibility is the foundation of a strong, safe, and just society,” said Burkut Nurmagambetov.

The «Тәртіпті өзіңнен баста» campaign aims to develop legal literacy, civic awareness, and an active life position among young people. The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies plans to continue these meetings, expanding their scope and audience to give young people a deeper understanding of their rights, responsibilities, and the need to obey the law.
