Today, Professor Saule Mukhanbedianovna Aitpaeva of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited a juvenile detention center (institution No. 11, DUIS in Almaty) to share her experience and talk about the importance of the principles of “law and order.”
The event was held as part of an exhibition organized by the Anaga Kurmet (Honouring Mother) Museum. The inmates were shown unique artefacts of Kazakh history, including antique tableware, weapons and headdresses of batyrs, as well as hand-embroidered images of mosques. Museum staff and Saule Aitpaeva emphasized the importance of preserving historical heritage and respecting traditions as an integral part of legal awareness.
In her lecture, Saule Aitpaeva noted that obeying the law and taking responsibility for one’s actions are key elements that will help every teenager find their place in society. She talked about her career and life journey, inspiring the children to correct their mistakes, develop personal qualities, and strive for a better future.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the role of legal education. Saule Mukhamedianovna presented the institution’s library with a copy of the book “Onegeli Omir” (“An Exemplary Life”), dedicated to the author of the Constitution of Kazakhstan, Nagashybay Shaykenov. She emphasized that studying legal norms and history helps young people understand the importance of the law and their responsibility to society.
“Laws are not just rules, they are the foundation of a successful and harmonious society. Compliance with the law allows each person to achieve their goals without violating the rights of others. Each of you has a chance to correct your mistakes and become part of this society,” said Saule Aitpaeva.
The event was not only informative but also motivating for the students, strengthening their understanding of the importance of law, order, and personal responsibility.
