A scientific seminar on the topic was held at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies: “Prospects for the development of criminal law and criminological policy”, in which the current results of scientific works of university students are presented.
The event was attended by Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, member of the Metropolitan Bar Association Lyazzat Temirzhanova, staff and undergraduates of the Academy.
The purpose of the event is the formation of demanded, practice–oriented dissertation research.
The articipants discussed problematic aspects of the qualification of illegal gambling organizations, issues of expulsion of foreigners and stateless persons, legal regulation of the activities of minimum security institutions.
Following the results of the seminar, recommendations on the directions of dissertation research were formed, the importance and necessity of holding meetings of this format were noted.
