The most important aspects of improving the efficiency of the law enforcement service in the context of improving legal science have become the main topic on the agenda of the permanent seminar “Topical issues of research activities” organized by the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Representatives of the University of the Prosecutor’s Office, faculty, students of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in its work.
As part of the exchange of experience, Maxim Sheremetyev, Deputy Director of the Interdepartmental Research Institute of the Academy, made a presentation of the monograph “Strengthening guarantees for the protection of citizens’ rights in criminal proceedings”, which won the international competition “Scientific Book” in 2021.
The work of Kazakhstani scientists, prepared based on the results of an interdepartmental scientific study, is devoted to topical issues of protecting individual rights and strengthening human rights standards in the field of criminal prosecution.
