The Academy was visited by a delegation of representatives of law enforcement agencies and non-governmental organizations of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the International Organization for Migration.
The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with Kazakhstan’s experience in combating human trafficking, to study the activities of departmental educational institutions within the framework of professional training of specialists in the field of migration and combating human trafficking.
The participants of the meeting expressed satisfaction with the high level of interaction between the law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, noted the importance of deepening cooperation in the context of globalization of threats to national and regional security.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to combating illegal labor exploitation and human trafficking, improving measures to protect crimes, organizing joint scientific and educational events.
In the context of strengthening interdepartmental interaction and exchange of experience, joint work within the framework of the Regional Hub for Countering Global Threats, where specialists of Central Asian law enforcement agencies are trained in advanced methods and technologies for combating crime, is recognized as a particularly significant vector of cooperation.
Following the meeting, the interlocutors expressed mutual interest in further strengthening partnership relations and readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in the implementation of joint initiatives.
