Issues of the fuel and energy complex were discussed

​The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies organized an online seminar on the control and supervision of the implementation of legislation in the field of fuel and energy complex, construction and transport.

Representatives of the General and Transport Prosecutor’s Offices of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as employees of the Academy took part in its work.

Opening the forum, Vice-Rector of the Academy Maralbek Yeshimov noted the relevance of the agenda, the special role of the fuel and energy complex, construction and transport for the development of the state economy.

The purpose of the event was to exchange experience of supervisory work in the field of fuel and energy complex, construction and transport.

As noted by the prosecutors of Uzbekistan, as part of the development of the regulatory framework in the fuel and energy sector, more than 13 thousand regulatory legal acts have been adopted. The main task of the Prosecutor’s Office is to supervise the execution of the above acts, compliance with the safety of fuel and energy facilities and the prevention of offenses.

The participants of the meeting also discussed topical issues of the state of legality and the practice of prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of legislation in the fuel and energy sector, priority areas and prospects for cooperation.

The parties noted the importance of the past cooperation for further expansion of partnership and exchange of experience.
