The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies conducted two online training seminars on: “Features of cyber attacks on companies and ordinary users” and “Features of the investigation of criminal cases related to Internet fraud”.
During the training, the students got acquainted with the six most common types of cyber attacks in Kaznet, the specifics of the qualification of actions related to the creation and distribution of malware.
The lecturers were international experts from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, as well as domestic trainers of the computer incident response service of the National Information Security Coordination Center.
A step-by-step algorithm for investigating cases of Internet fraud has been studied in detail, including the interaction between the investigator, prosecutor, experts and specialists. Foreign colleagues shared their national experience in organizing the investigation and prevention of these crimes.
