The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies organized an online round table on the topic “Forms of pre-trial investigation: formation and development trends”.
The main purpose of the event is to create a dialogue platform and unite the efforts of scientists and practitioners to discuss topical issues of applying forms of pre-trial investigation, improving legislation and solving priority tasks of law enforcement practice.
The discussion was attended by representatives of Anti-Corruption Agencies, Financial Monitoring, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the legal community, scientists and experts.
Discussions were held around such issues as the essence of the procedural form, the history of the development of pre-trial investigation forms and their current state. The key problems of pre-trial proceedings in criminal cases, progressive international practice and scientific research conducted in this area were discussed.
The participants of the meeting noted the relevance of the topic under consideration, the importance of improving the fundamental foundations and basic principles of the criminal process to optimize the forms of pre-trial investigation.
As a result of the round table, recommendations were developed on the issues raised, and ways to expand cooperation in the scientific field were proposed.
