The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies organized an online international round table dedicated to the problems of assessing the level of drug use in Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by the authors of an interdepartmental scientific study on this topic, representatives of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Central Asia, and experts.
The participants of the meeting noted the special relevance of the agenda, stressed the need to combine efforts to counter the illegal distribution of drugs.
They also discussed the key problems that arise in the process of assessing the level of drug use, spoke about the ongoing research on this topic, and shared positive experience from international practice.
As a result of the round table, relevant recommendations were developed on the issues raised, and further expansion of cooperation in the scientific field was proposed.
