A meeting of the Dissertation Council is considered valid if at least 2/3 of its members take part in its work.
Participation in the meeting of the Dissertation Council of official reviewers and temporary members of the Dissertation Council is mandatory.
Members of the Dissertation Council and official reviewers are allowed to take part in the defense in the form of a video conference. Participation in a defense in the form of a video conference is permitted if a member of the dissertation council or an official reviewer is abroad or is unable to participate in an offline format due to objective circumstances. If, for good reason, one of the official reviewers is absent, his review shall be read by the Scientific Secretary.
It is allowed to participate in a meeting of invited specialists in the practical field if the dissertation is of an applied nature.
