On May 18, 2020, a regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Academy was held.
The first part of the session was devoted to congratulatory events.
Askar Sekishev, Professor of the Academy, state adviser of justice of the 3rd class, was congratulated on his 60th anniversary.
The Rector of the Academy awarded certificates of conferring the academic title Associate Professor (Docent) to: Associate Professor – Seitayeva Zh. S.; chief research – Imangaliyev N. K.; Associate Professor – Mediyev R. A.
In the second part of the meeting, a report on the results of the implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Academy’s Development Strategy for 2019-2023 was heard, issues of organizing admission to the master’s and doctoral programs of the Academy in 2020 were considered, as well as changes to the Academic Calendar and the composition of the State Attestation Commission were approved.
Also educational and scientific works of members of the Academy were recommended for publishing: the monograph “Strengthening the protection of entrepreneurs’ rights and their legitimate interests” (group of authors); the monograph “The Procedural costs of pre-trial investigation in the Republic of Kazakhstan” (group of authors: I. M. Sheremetev, A.T Karipova, E.A. Omarov, B.Zh. Shotkin, N.S. Alimkulov, T.G. Makhanov); Collection of materials of International scientific-practical conference “Development of modern legal science: theory and practice»; educational and methodological guide “Normative activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan” (authors: Sh.Sh. Shayakhmetov, N.B. Rakhimov); monograph “Novels in modern criminalistics” (author: N.N. Begaliev); Textbook “Criminal offenses against the person” (authors: E.E. Kazhenov, A.S. Kazhenova).
