Dear colleagues!
The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi invite you to participate in an international scientific and practical conference on “Actual Issues of Ensuring Public Security and Counteracting Crime” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the doctor of law, professor, state counsellor of justice of 3rd class Begaliev Kalaushi Adilkhanovich (1927-2006).
The conference will be held on November 16, 2017, the beginning of the conference is at 10.00.
The conference program includes plenary and sectional meetings. During the conference it is planned to discuss the following problems:
1) Improving the methods of counteraction to individual forms of theft (Article 188 of the Criminal Code – theft, 190 Criminal Code – fraud).
2) Actual problems of prevention of juvenile delinquency.
3) Problems of forming “zero tolerance” for violations in the society.
4) Counteracting corruption in the new economic conditions.
5) Improving the interaction of law enforcement agencies and non-governmental organizations in countering terrorism and extremism.
The collection of materials will be published in open press on the day of the conference. Articles and reports are accepted in Kazakh, Russian and English languages until October 2, 2017.
The application should include:
a) full name of the author;
b) place of work (fully or abbreviated organization), position;
c) military or special rank (if any);
d) academic degree and academic title (if any);
e) theme of the report;
f) section;
g) postal and e-mail addresses, contact numbers.
Requirements for the preparation of reports:
Articles and reports are accepted electronically. The paper size is A4. Font – Times New Roman, size – 14. Interval – 1. Fields – 2 sm each. Indentation – 1.25. The text is aligned to the width without displaying the numbering of pages, headers, pictures and photos. The subject of the article is printed in the centre in capital letters in bold. Information about the author: surname, name, father’s name, position, military or special rank, academic degree, academic title is indicated in the upper right corner of the article. References to sources are made in square brackets. The list of literature is compiled in accordance with the order of mentioning the works and is given at the end of the article. The electronic version of the article should be named the surname of the author (s).
The author (s) is responsible for the accuracy of the material, therefore, the work should be presented in an edited form. Changes and abbreviations in the text that do not affect its content can be made by the editor without agreement with the author. The editors reserve the right to evaluate and reject works.
Materials that do not meet the above requirements will not be considered.
