The Prosecutor’s Office of Mangistau region has opened advanced training courses on the topic “Legal and practical issues of the participation of the prosecutor in the criminal process”.
The courses are organized by the representative of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies in Mangistau region with the Office of the Prosecutor’s Office of the region.
The training was carried out within the framework of implementing legislative changes that gave prosecutors new powers.
Retraining is carried out by staff previously assigned to other areas of prosecutorial activity and lacking sufficient experience in the criminal process.
The main goal of the courses is the formation of in-depth professional knowledge and skills necessary for investigating criminal cases, supervising and representing the interests of the state in criminal proceedings.
The training program includes such important modules as “Implementation of the criminal law in the work of the prosecutor”, “The activities of the prosecutor in the pre-trial stage of the criminal process”, “Maintaining public prosecution in court”.
Representatives of the scientific community, university professors, as well as experienced employees of the prosecutor’s office were involved in the training sessions.
