Advanced training courses for the staff of the city prosecutor’s office on “Issues of the application of criminal and criminal procedural legislation” were opened in Almaty. The training was organized by the representative of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies together with the apparatus of the city prosecutor’s office.
Courses are held as part of the implementation of legislative changes that gave prosecutors new powers.
Therefore, retraining is carried out by staff previously assigned to other areas of prosecutorial activities and lacking sufficient experience in the criminal process.
The main goal of the courses is the formation of in-depth professional knowledge and skills necessary for investigating criminal cases, supervising and representing the interests of the state in criminal proceedings.
The training program includes the mastering of three important training modules – “Implementation of the criminal law in the work of the prosecutor”, “The activities of the prosecutor in the pre-trial stage of the criminal process” and “The production of investigative actions at the pre-trial stage of the criminal process”.
Classes will be held with discussion of specific tasks and situations, working out and fixing the obtained knowledge on practical examples.
