A round table “Actual problems of criminalistics and forensic examinations (Aubakirov’s readings)” was held in the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies.
Topical issues of development of forensic science and forensic expertise in Kazakhstan were discussed at the meeting dedicated to the memory of the outstanding domestic criminalist Alexander Aubakirov.
Leading scientists, representatives of law enforcement and state bodies, higher educational institutions, as well as national experts took part in its work.
Within the framework of the round table, a constructive and professional dialogue took place on the most important areas of enhancing the role of forensic science and the theory of forensic science in the work of law enforcement agencies.
In particular, the prospects and problems of the development of forensic and expert activities, as well as forensic units were discussed.
Important topics of discussion were the use of digital data as documents and material evidence in the criminal case, as well as the reconstruction of the scene (3D witness).
According to the participants of the meeting, this event can become a significant event in the scientific activity of departmental educational institutions.
