The Law Enforcement Academy was visited by a delegation of ten prosecutors from Cuba, headed by the Chief Prosecutor of the Department of organization and planning of the Prosecutor General’s office of the Republic of Cuba.
The program of the visit includes acquaintance with the system of Supervisory bodies of Kazakhstan, the main activities to ensure law and order, fight crime, strengthen international legal cooperation, the use of information technologies in prosecutorial practice.
The delegates visited the Prosecutor’s office of Astana, where the information system “E – a criminal case”, “Legality” was presented.
Also, a tour of the building on the Prosecutor General’s office, where guests got acquainted with the work of the Call-center, the Center of law enforcement services was organized.
At the premises of the CPU, an exchange of experience in providing legal assistance to citizens took place.
The guests thanked the Kazakh colleagues for the warm welcome, the opportunity to study at a specialized University, to discuss and exchange experience of the formation of Supervisory bodies of the two countries.
The visit of the Cuban delegation was one of the first practical events in the framework of the Memorandum on cooperation between the Prosecutor General’s offices of Kazakhstan and Cuba, signed in March this year.
