The Rector of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Andrei Fomenko visited the Law Enforcement Academy.
He met with Academy’s management, faculty, and students.
Vice-rector of the Academy Serik Shalabaev told the guest about the main stages of the formation and development of the Academy, prospects for further development.
The parties noted the common goals and objectives facing the two educational institutions, expressed interest in establishing mutually beneficial partnerships.
As noted by A. Fomenko, Ukraine is following with great attention the progressive changes in the work of the Kazakh prosecutor’s office, in particular in the field of training qualified personnel. Establishing long-term relations with the Law Enforcement Academy in the framework of training qualified lawyers and effectively using scientific innovative potential in the fight against crime is of great professional interest to us, he stressed.
S. Shalabaev also noted the importance of establishing constructive interaction with one of the leading universities in Ukraine, with rich experience and high scientific and educational potential.
The meeting resulted in the signing of a Memorandum between educational institutions.
Under the agreement, universities agreed to conduct joint educational and research activities, exchange experiences, and carry out mutual visits of experts and students.
Noting the importance of signing the Memorandum, the interlocutors expressed confidence that the agreement would give a significant impetus to further deepen legal cooperation and strengthen partnerships.
