A simulation training on litigation was held by the judge of the Astana city D. Kisikova as part of continuing education courses for prosecutors at the Academy.
The staff and students of the Academy, as well as graduate students of the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court took part.
During the training, specific court cases on the murder, sale of drugs and false denunciation were modeled.
As part of maintaining the public prosecution, prosecutors demonstrated their professional knowledge at all stages of the trial, from the opening of the main trial to the sentencing. They also improved their skills in preparing for a court session, participating in a judicial investigation, correctly presenting an indictment, and studying judicial acts.
The judge evaluated the work of prosecutors, noted the mistakes and shortcomings, made recommendations for their elimination.
The training showed the relevance and preference for conducting such exercises with advanced training of existing employees. According to the general opinion of the participants, the innovative training format develops the ability to find effective professional solutions, allows to identify and resolve problematic issues in the interaction of judicial and supervisory authorities.
