As part of the implementation of the order of the Prosecutor General to strengthen supervision of the legality of judicial acts in criminal matters, the Academy held advanced training courses for employees of territorial prosecutor’s offices supporting the state prosecution.
Lectures and trainings were aimed at developing in-depth knowledge of the students necessary for the supervision and representation of state interests in criminal proceedings.
The training format is designed to provide practical orientation and maximum mastery of the necessary skills.
Within two weeks, tactics were mastered to maintain state prosecution, to study the legality of judicial acts. Oratory trainings were held in order to improve public speaking skills.
Trainings took place with a discussion of specific tasks and situations, working out and consolidating the material covered by practical examples. On the basis of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Accounting, the modern information systems used in supervisory activities were mastered.
Also, classes were held to simulate criminal trials in criminal matters in the field of drug trafficking, crimes against the person and false denunciation. Graduates of the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court acted as judges.
Following the results of the training events, a round table was held with the participation of representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the CLSSA, at which actual problems of supervisory practice were discussed.
