Today, the EXPO exhibition complex hosted a welcome conference “Environmental Safety as a Guarantor of the country’s Stable Development”.
The event was organized by the Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s Office in cooperation with the Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan.
The conference was attended by deputies of the Parliament, representatives of state bodies, public and international organizations, energy and non-mining companies, leading scientists of Kazakhstan and abroad.
Participants discussed the current state of environmental safety, exchanged views on ways to improve the quality of the environment, improve environmental culture and achieve harmony of human activities with nature.
As the speakers noted, the preservation of a favorable living environment, the protection of human health, the adoption of effective measures for the conservation and rational use of natural resources are the main priorities in the activities of all structures.
Representatives of the non-governmental sector shared their experience in environmental protection, expressed their willingness to cooperate with state bodies in this direction.
An important outcome of the forum was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Law Enforcement Academy and the Association of Environmental Organizations.
The agreement provides for the improvement of environmental education, the development of joint research projects and practical recommendations.
the Academy’s the regional hub for countering global threats will act as a platform for consolidating efforts in these areas.
