Today, the Law Enforcement Academy held a closing ceremony of the international simulation training on combating human trafficking.
The event was held with the support of the OSCE Secretariat, the OSCE programs in Nur-Sultan, the U.S. Embassy and the office of the high Commissioner of the United Nations.
In its work took part the specialists of law enforcement agencies, labour inspections, NGOs, migration, immigration, and social services of the 17 member states of the OSCE.
During the week, participants worked on practical skills to respond to signals of human trafficking within the framework of the given scenarios.
The tasks involved a full range of activities related to the search and identification of victims of crimes, providing them with the necessary social assistance, carrying out operational and investigative actions, as well as the preparation of procedural documents and sending a criminal case to the court.
Following the results of the work, experienced experts analyzed the actions of specialists, pointed out the shortcomings, gave recommendations for improving professional knowledge.
The participants of the training expressed gratitude for the organization of the training event, noted the high efficiency of the training format, the importance of practical knowledge, as well as the high professionalism of trainers and experts.
