Topical issues of scientific and educational activities were considered at the regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Law Enforcement Academy held on January 25 of the current year.
One of the main issues on the agenda was the approval of the composition of the new dissertation council. The well-known Kazakhstani scientist, doctor of legal sciences, professor Isidor Borchashvili was elected a chairman.
The consultative body consisted of 9 more doctors of science, including the rectors of the Academy of Justice at the Supreme Court, the Central Kazakhstan Academy, as well as leading legal scholars.
The second part of the meeting was devoted to summarizing the educational and research activities of the Academy.
As the rector of the Academy noted in his speech, the main achievement of the year was the successful completion of institutional and specialized accreditation by the university.
The recognition of the authority of the Academy in the educational space of the CIS has become the status of the basic organization of the Commonwealth countries to improve the skills of tax authorities.
Also at the meeting were discussed the issues of introducing the initial training of young specialists, who for the first time enter the law enforcement service, specialized magistracy, distance learning and the e-Academy system.
In addition, the Academic Council approved the plan for publication of scientific papers of the Academy for the current year.
