A meeting of the heads of the research and educational institutions of the prosecutor general’s offices of the CIS member states represented on the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS Member States (CCPG) was held in Moscow. Nurgalym Abdirov, Rector of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the event in a hybrid format.
Participants from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan discussed the development of departmental research and education, the conduct of joint studies, and improvements to the information and methodological support of prosecutorial work.
In his address, Nurgalym Abdirov presented the Academy’s experience of transformation, which is focused on the anticipatory analysis of risks and the introduction of innovation into law enforcement.
Particular attention was given to the Academy’s digital tools, namely the “Zertteushi” information system and the “ÄdisPRO” platform, which make it possible to systematise research and methodological materials.
The Rector also spoke about the development of the Academy’s research and practical infrastructure, including the “ProLab” laboratories at the prosecutor’s offices of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent and Aktobe, as well as the training and practice rooms in the territorial units of the prosecution service.
One of the Academy’s initiatives was a proposal to create a single electronic resource for the CIS CCPG for the exchange of information on research, academic works and development projects, and for compiling a register of academics and experts from the relevant institutions.
